Young Entrepreneur’s Recipe for Success: A Chat with Vatsal. Opening a Food Stall and Chasing Dreams
In the world of culinary entrepreneurship, youth is not a arrier. Meet Vatsal Shah, a 21 years old dynamic young individual with a passion for food and a dream to bring unique flavors to our community.
We sat down with Vatsal to learn more about their journey of opening a food stall at a young age.
I’m Vatsal Shah, a 21 year old boy. I have recently completed my graduation in Mass Media and I am here chasing my dreams. I’ve always been passionate about food in general.
I love experimenting with new food creations as well as some interesting recipes & unique ideas in my kitchen. I have always thought of sharing the joy of enjoying good food with everyone, and hence the start of pursuing my dream.
The idea of a food stall emerged from there. Running a business can be time-consuming and it’s a challenge, no doubt.
But I’ve learned that setting clear boundaries and delegating tasks when possible is essential.
My team has been incredibly supportive, and I make sure to carve out time for family and self-care to recharge.
There were logistical challenges like finding the right location and securing permits. Then there was the matter of funding.
I started saving money while doing odd jobs such as freelancing, reselling, and internships & after saving for almost seven months I invested all my savings in this venture.
Through this, I saved up a sufficient amount to get started with the investment.
Managing the daily operations of the food Stall is a team effort. I’ve hired a small but dedicated team who share my passion for food. We plan our menu, prep ingredients, and ensure that everything is well-organized. Consistency and quality are our top priorities.
Food safety is non-negotiable. We strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Additionally, we maintain an open live kitchen policy so customers can see our commitment to cleanliness firsthand. Plus, we emphasize using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
Our stall is all about fast food cuisine. To keep up with the hustle and bustle of the people of Mumbai, we have kept our concept to be easy and quick to divulge.
Our menu is a culinary adventure! We offer a diverse range of Fries and Potato tornados /twisters & mojito’s with an exciting and wide range of flavors.
Our PSP is the snack tower which offers fries with a choice of mocktail, all in one.
Our peri peri masala is our bestseller & indeed the perfect combo of tangy & spicy. This would be my personal review but also widely popular with customers as well.
Being a Gen-Z myself, social media has been a game-changer for us. We maintain an active presence on platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Google, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of our kitchen, and special promotions.
This way we can engage with our customers directly. It’s a great way to connect with the young crowd who appreciate authenticity and visual storytelling.
We don’t believe in just building sales, we aim to build a family who loves our food just as they would love their own homes. Our ultimate motto is that anyone who visits Fries Factory should enjoy the food they are served.
15 September was our opening day and it will be forever unforgettable. Seeing the smiles on our customers’ faces as they enjoyed our food made all the hard work worthwhile. It was a moment of validation and inspiration.
We intend to expand to more locations, introduce new menu items, and also start an E-commerce Business. Our goal is to keep innovating and delighting our customers.
We welcome everyone to try our food and give us their blessings. See you at Fries Factory!!
We have a promotional offer going on right now. We have trials at only ₹39 for every item. It’s going to be a culinary experience you won’t want to miss, so mark your bucket lists!
