
The Stonehill Founder’s Day Run 2025, organised by Raadiant Sports and hosted by Stonehill International School, Bangalore, saw an impressive surge in participation, with over 1600 runners navigating the scenic trails of the Tarahunise village in North Bangalore on Sunday, September 7th.
Held annually to celebrate the founding of Stonehill International School, the event honours the vision of Mr. Jitu Virwani, Chairman & Managing Director of the Embassy Group, who established the School in September 2008.
This year’s run featured several race formats: the Half Marathon, 10K, 4 x 5K Corporate Relay (men, women, and mixed), along with competitive and fun 5K categories. Teams from companies such as Cargill Business Services India, Samsung R&D Centre, Deutsche Bank and Visa took part, adding energy and enthusiasm to the day.
In the Half Marathon Nandan V took the top spot with a timing of 1:37:10 in the men’s category (18–30 years), while Sushma Pujari claimed the women’s title (18–30 years) with a time of 2:19:50. In the 10K, Prajwal Gowda won the men’s category (16–30 years) clocking in at 0:36:40, and Priyanka Singh triumphed in the women’s category (16–30 years) with a 0:57:09 finish.
In the Corporate Relay segment, Samsung dominated the men’s category while Deutsche Bank dominated the women’s category. Cargill Business Services India clinched the top position in the mixed relay.
