BOOKS,ARTS & CULTURE

Medusa Fashion House, led by Sonal Jindal, is set to introduce Bihar’s rich artisanal legacy to the global stage at the Medusa Exhibit in London from 18th to 22nd September 2025, during the Fashion Week.

The collection will spotlight Bihar’s timeless crafts, including Madhubani paintings, Sikki grass products, Sujini embroidery, Bhagalpuri silk, and Nalanda stone crafts, among others. Each piece reflects the cultural heritage and intricate craftsmanship that Bihar is renowned for, thoughtfully reimagined for an international audience.

With a vision to empower and support local artisans, Medusa Fashion House is providing them with a global platform to present their craft. By bridging traditional skills with contemporary design sensibilities, the exhibit not only ensures artisans gain recognition but also opens up opportunities for their work in international markets.

In addition to Bihar’s crafts, the exhibit will welcome multiple designers, international buyers, premium influencers, and industry leaders, making it a truly global platform for cultural exchange. Through this initiative, Medusa Fashion House underscores its mission to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage on international borders, ensuring that traditional practices are preserved while creating new avenues for craft communities to thrive in the modern world.

Speaking about the initiative, Sonal Jindal shares: “India’s artisanal treasures reveal a deep-rooted cultural heritage, where every piece reflects generations of skills and tradition. At Medusa Fashion House, we are proud to take these treasures from local markets to the international spotlight.”
