It was not easy to build a restaurant during the time of COVID, but we were determined to create a perfect outlet for anyone who loves a good vibe and food.
I, Shalaka Kadam, a housewife throughout my life, came up with the concept of Platess Multi Cuisine Restaurant.
I understood what the audience was looking for and what the area lacked, where you can find all the world’s cuisines, but I wanted it to be more extended.
Together with my brother, Samir Chavan, and husband, Raja Kadam, we poured down our efforts to make Platess an excellent place for food.
Samir has an experience of 15-20 years in the restaurant industry, which stood as a plus point for us.
He has complete knowledge about starting a restaurant business from scratch and taking it to new heights.
On the other hand, my husband, Raja Kadam, who comes from a construction background, started his own restaurant in 2018 named Narayan Dining, which offers Indian Food.
As we wanted to cater to all the cuisine, we revamped Narayan Dining into Platess Multi Cuisine Restaurant.
