A significant milestone for India’s rich cultural heritage of classical music was celebrated on April 16 at Kamani Auditorium in New Delhi with the start of the eagerly awaited Bhilwara Sur Sangam 2023, an Indian classical music festival that successfully marked a decade of the festival. Day 1 of the festival featured a stunning performance by renowned vocalist Padma Shri Smt. Aruna Sairam, a melodious performance that captivated the audience with soulful renditions of classical compositions.

Smt. Aruna Sairam’s performance was the highlight of the festival’s first day, as she demonstrated her exceptional talent and mastery of classical music, captivating the audience with her soulful voice. Her performance paid homage to the varied musical traditions of India and captured the true spirit of Bhilwara Sur Sangam.

The chairman of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, Ravi Jhunjhunwala, expressed his delight at Padma Shri Smt. Aruna Sairam’s performance on the opening day of the festival. “Her performance tonight is a testament to her extraordinary talent and love of music. The Bhilwara Sur Sangam Festival 2023 showcases some of the greatest maestros in the classical music world as part of a celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage.
