
Charkop is a cultural, sports and economic hub of Mumbai suburban. Charkop Cultural and Sports Foundation has been instrumental in specifying the culture and sports thirst of the people residing in the Charkop.

CCSF has been playing the role of torch bearer by organizing various cultural and sports activities.
To add another feather to its multifaceted cap, the organization has come up with a new initiative to felicitate innovative and resourceful teachers with CCSF Dnyanjyoti Purskar in the vicinity.
Under the able guidance of Shri Sharad Satam (mentor CCSF), the teacher’s felicitation programme was organized on 23rd January 2023 at the Anant Banquet Hall, Charkop Market, Charkop Kandivali.
For which 181 teachers registered through google link. The panel of six Principals of various schools and colleges in Charkop were formed to select the best teacher among the received entries.
The jury panel selected 12 teachers for the CCSF Dnyanjyoti Purskar. Education minister Shri Deepak Kesarkar addressed the gathering of teachers and educators using an online platform.

North Mumbai MP Shri Gopal Shetty was the chief guest for the programme. Shrimati Anuja Prakash Chavan, Shrimati Snehal Vijay Ayre, Shrimati Asha Ashoka Brahmane Shri Sanjay Kisan Patole, Shrimati Nisha Nilesh Salunke, Shri Vikas Mahadev Aher, Shri Rajendra Bajirao Patil, Shri Umakant Vasantrao Jagtap, Shri Prakash Govind Rashingkar, Shri Deepak R Wani, Shrimati Alka H Kanabar, Shri Mahesh Dattatraya Datar were felicitated with the CCSF Dnyanjyoti Purskar at the hands of MP Shri Gopal Shetty.
Shri Sunil Patil coordinated the programme with the help of other members of CCSF.
