Tasty Nibbles, an international food brand based in Kerala, has launched its ‘Ready-to-Eat ONAM SADYA PACK’. Cine actor Honey Rose received the product from Tasty Nibbles Managing Director Cherian Kurian at a function in Kochi on August 10.
Tasty Nibbles Ready-to-Eat Onam Sadya Pack contains four packets (250 g each) of Matta Rice, two packets (200 g each) of Sambar Curry, one packet (200 g) each of Aviyal Curry, Puli Inchi and Tender Mango Pickle, one packet (185 g) each of Parippu Payasam and Wheat Payasam, and one packet (100 g) of Banana Chips. The pack will also include a free 200 g packet of Tasty Nibbles Instant Palada Payasam Mix as an introductory offer. Each pack will serve upto four persons and is priced at Rs 999. Addressing a press meet held as part of the launch ceremony, Cherian Kurian, Managing Director, Tasty Nibbles, said that the traditional flavours of Kerala could now be enjoyed anywhere in the world for Onam in a convenient pack. “Enjoy the Onam feast without the labours of cooking,” he added.
A high-tech Sadya
Tasty Nibbles uses a unique sterilisation process called ‘Retort Processing’ to pack the dishes without added preservatives and retain their nutrients. Pre-cooked food, in hermetically-sealed pouches or cans, is heated under high pressure and temperature to enable storage at room temperature for over two years.
